I learned a new trick the other day. I was out in the garage trying to glue two boards together. The garage as really cold and I could hardly get the wood glue to move. I took it inside and threw the whole bottle in the microwave for a minute. The glue flowed nicely afterwards and saved me a bunch of time.
Another new thing I'm doing... I used to get cotton sheets and dye them black. These make great wall coverings and you don't have to worry about black plastic and fire ratings. Well the dyeing takes a while and the sheets end up being various shades of black due to the % cotton/polyester. So last night I went on line and found a discount table linen outlet:
Rectangular Clearance Tablecloths - TableLinensforLess.com -- Clearance Deals
I was able to pick up multiple cloths cheap. Now I don't have to dye and they should be pitch black!

we use the black fabric sheets used for gardenning, you put under rocks and stones in gardens, I forgot the name, but it's 10$ for a lot (even sometimes, I got it on special for 6.99$). I think I bought already 10 packs already. We used is for everything, making walls, ceilings, props, it's pitch black and very effective.
here a few pics where we used it.

I bought all of the White flat sheets for my morgue walls at Wal Mart. Are $4 every day for a Full. Had other colors, but can't remember if they had them in black ? I think they are 50 some inches wide and almost 8 feet long.

I like the landscape fabric idea. I doesn't get heavy when wet either, does it?

It's very light, dries very quickly outside too. We use simple staples to hold it together. Also, hot glue works well with it. I do recommend it a lot to people.

What I did... –

I used old curtains, and hung them over a clothes line and hit them with double cans of black spray paint. The end result was a nice look that had a random pattern. I shredded the bottom of them and re-hung the curtains for a really cool background. I actually didn’t want mine to look the same, I welcome randomness!
Thanks for the link, never know!
I love the screaming!
