I know I saw tutorials out there but can't find them. I am looking to make something like these pumpkin creatures but don't know where to start. I saved these from the web or maybe even this forum. If anyone can point me in the right direction for more info it would be greatly appreciated.

Hallow Tumble -- Time to start buying rolls of duct tape and saving those newspapers! I recall a tutorial on the Forum to make long knarled fingers for a pumpkin head out of wire, newspaper and covering it all with black/brown and silver duct tape. Seems you could use PVC for the center post and go from there. After that - looks like paper mache created the jack head piece. This year I am gong to try using a large inflated trash bag or beach ball as my base. I would love to fill our little back woods with these in various shapes and sizes. Good luck putting it all together and please post pics for we novices. . .

Here's what I did. I took some tree branches and cut them for the fingers. Then I cut four pieces of wire. (about six inches long) for each joint.
I taped each piece of wire to four different sides of the branch. Leaving about three inches of wire to tape to the other branch. I hope that makes sense. Then I taped each finger and joint. I was able to bend the fingers into any position. Later I actually wraped the entire hand and arm in paper mache and painted it with spray paint. There's a couple of pictures on my profile that might give you a better idea.NINJA VANISH

Hey TD.
I don't recall seeing those exact scarecrows here on the forum, but Kimily The Strange did a couple last year that were very similar, called Cucur and Mauly...Excellent job she made of them too.
Here's a link that might help point you in the right direction...
Cucur - in the style of Pumpkin Rot
Hope this helps.
