    So, this past Halloween I made a giant headless horseman silhouette, without the horse, and it didn't come out so incredibly well.

    Here's a picture:


    sadly enough, it looks better in the picture than it did in real life.

    Anyway, I'm scrapping this and was thinking of turning it into a scarecrow to place at the top of my driveway, which is rather long, in order to be a sort of announcement that the TOTers are going the right direction to get to my haunt.

    The basis for this prop is an old basketball hoop and i would love to use it without having to cut it up at all, but if I can't, I can't.

    I suppose my query is if you all have any suggestions for covering up the swing set in the back yard, which is where the entrance to the haunt is. I would love if it was just dark enough to ignore it, but it's not.

    Any ideas on either of these issues would be much appreciated.

    ok, here's an edit. I was thinking of having a lot of fog in the area in front of the swing set so that it's hidden with some lights in there with maybe a simple moving object to cast strange shadows through the fog. Any idea the best fog machine for that?
