Has anybody ever put one of these things together? I remember seeing one on somebodies display and I think it was somebody on this site.

I'm guessing it involves somesort of simple mirror trick inside of some sort of box or fake well or something like that. Is that right?

    Anybody have any tips?

    Thanks.

I found the pictures at HauntProject.com - Your visual source for Haunting How-To's very good but a little short on description. However a good description is at Bottomless Pit. I am working on one incoropoating the scare idea and the plexiglass. I will post when I have it complete.

It sounds like the jest of it is to make sure the mirror surfaces are facing each other in a solid box of some sort and that the part you look down into is the side the cops look through when they are looking through the one way mirror on those cop shows.

Sounds simple enough. Just a matter of deciding on the "details" to make it look good.

I LOVE the ladder concept on the side. And I think using some sort of strobe light instead of a solid one might be something that really adds to the effect. I like the fake stone exterior but I was thinking of something that looks a little more worn out and unstable. I'm thinking a rotting wood interior and exterior will fit with my particular yard haunt a little better. Hopefully I can find some old fence or pallet material in the near future.

I can't believe I'm thinking of Halloween in January. I usually don't start until the late Summer. I probably have this website to thank for that.
