Does anyone know how to fix a broken motor from a christmas reindeer? My dad trashed the reindeer but I managed to salvage the motor in hopes of fixing it and using it for a prop perhaps!

I have a feeling it's not worth trying to salvage. I recall seeing a link here to a site that sells the motors for $7 or $8 a pop. Your time spent trying to fix it is probably worth that, and likely more.

    Ditto.

If it was just a broken pin or something maybe. As it is, you're better off buying one. Replacement Parts

depends on your FCG. If it's just cheesecloth and a wighead, I wouldn't be surprised if it could. If you're trying to lift a blucky torso, probably not.

I might just try it. I just picked up 2 working motors a couple of days ago. The neat thing about it is each have an additional plug socket for hooking up the blacklight. Just have to figure out how to mount the motor to the rig.

Nethertheless, they have to be good for at least light duty projects

I used a reindeer motor for a FCG and it worked ok. My FCG was just a wig head and white material. After I counterbalanced it it worked better, but not spectacular.
