Im so pissed right now, hes only about 3 months old and already his head stopped moving and i doubt there is any warranty from spirit on this. They will be getting a call from me Monday, For $250.00 this thing should last longer than 3 months.

WOW! That really sucks! I have had my Gemmy Cauldron Witch for two halloweens now (roughly has only been on maybe 10 hours in operation) and the sensor has starting going off when it wants. When theres no one around it goes off, and still, when you walk by, it doesn't go off. :\

Don't scare me! I got the same Micheal.. and I used him only once (on halloween). I would be pissed too if mine stop working too. Maybe Spirit can help you? Good luck!

Best of luck, I work for Spencers (which owns Spirit). As cool as these animated props are they have a problem with cheap motors that burn out very easily. If Spirit wouldnt help, my suggestion is to revamp the servos if you or someone you know knows how. Also just check for loose wires, that is the problem I had on my Leatherface one.

I took the top apart to check out the gears, the gear that is attached to the motor that turns the gear is like intermittent , if i help it it will spin but as soon as it stops it wont start back up.

Sounds like something is out of line and might be catching on something and is preventing proper movement. Sorry that is all I have for now.

welcome to the world of cheeply made halloween props , I saw them they are a cool prop but just knew they were craply built . good luck with spirit you would have to look if there is any warrantee with the actual product located inside the packaging do you still have that paperwork? if not you now own a non moving $250 doorstop I will never buy these at full price or probably at all

Halloween USA had several of them at 50% off after Halloween. I still couldn't pay the $125.00. Makes sense why they had so many.

I love my mm but my adapter didn't fit quiet snug enough and if it wasn't postioned just right it wouldn't work.Did any of you have that problem?It's a different adapter than jason.

I think I know whats happening, I bought a witch from spirit and the same thing was happening to her. Once you take it apart, there should be a bracket attached to the motor, that is also attached to the head (key word SHOULD mine was broken when I bought it so I made a new one out of a coat hanger) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me
