I took old CPR manikin faces and hot glued them to the stone. I used a string of red blinking christmas lights for the eyes, I just pushed them through the back. Then I recorded a audio file of our halloween gang saying stuff like "help me, let me out of here", "hey kid come here" you get the drift. Home run with the kids!!

I bet you could do something sort of similar with the white plastic face molds available at Hobby Lobby, as long as you painted the whole thing when you were finished. This is a great idea! Love it!

I love the idea, but where did you get the faces? And, are you going to paint the entire thing the one colour, or leave the faces skin tone? I think I might attemp this, but I have no idea where i'd find the faces like you have, maybe i'll do it with skulls.

Here is the scoop on the faces. They are from old cpr manikins. In the old days each student would get one of these masks to practice/perform cpr. This was for infectious reasons. We used to have to wash these faces in a combination of soap and bleach to sterilize them. Today manikins are much different and easier to use. Unfortunately most of this stuff ended up in dumpsters. I would suggest that you contact local cpr instructors. A place to start would be to give a call to someone on a local fire, ambulance, or police department. I ended up with about 40 of them before they got thrown into the dumpster. You may be able to score some old Resuscitation Annies for nothing. These old manikins are rarely used anymore. I am sure there are more than one sitting in storage rooms.
I left the faces flesh color as you see it. The audio file just played in a loop. The lights were just blinking Christmas lights but I used two strands so they the eyes flashed randomly. I spent about 30 min on the whole thing

Looks cool - simple and effective!
It may look cooler with the faces the same color as the stone...
Either way good job!Screaming Scarecrow's Home Haunt Halloween Decorations & Props
Those things that go bump in the night - I pushed them down!
