Looking good, how do you attached the frame to your body? Just straps? Before I came here, I never seen a stalkaround in my life or even knew of it. Seem such a cool thing to do. How do you see when wearing the costume, holes for the eyes?

u attach the pvc to a heavy duty backpack (camping , army) and then u just wear the backpack as shown. so yes it is basicly straps. if u type in stalkaround in the search many threads will come up that will show you how. also for seeing you either get dee thru fabric, or you could cut holes for the eyes. i will be posting more progress when i get to home depot

Looks great so far. So what kind of monster will it be? Looking forward to seeing it finished, so keep posting man.
You might want to cut off those sharp screws, or use a nut & bolt. You don't want any real blood on it bro.......

I'm thinking about trying to make one of those this year. I don't have a decent backpack yet.

I have found that a great way to hide the holes for your eyes is constant holes and distressing over the whole costume. Also cheese cloth of "Creepy Cloth" brand cheese cloth that is pre-dyed. This way there is no random suspicious hole where a normal person head would be. Also don't make it to tall, it messes with the illusion, if I make another it will be about 9-10' tall.

Its great to see other younger haunters
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

Looks like you got a nice start. I plan on making a creature reacher myself before next Halloween. I have been watching thrift stores for a backpack and I still haven't picked a mask and hands yet either. Anyways thanks for the post, I am sure I will reference your pics. I can't wait to see the finished product.

I like the use of the external backpack frame.
