Well, here he is..my first corpse. This project ended up being easier and quicker than I expected. I named him Skully because the Bucky skeleton that I used came with an awful case of scoliosis (he was a 4th class). Anyway, I used Skull and Bone's tutorial (here) as a rough guide, but honestly made it up as I went along. I used the pantyhose like the tutorial advised, and the end result looks great. Instead of the carpet adhesive Skull and Bone used, I used Ben Nye liquid latex (used for costumes, etc.) It's a little (A LOT) more expensive, but it dries in a few hours and is a quicker cleanup. Plus, I just had some on hand. Putting on the pantyhose and latex only took a few minutes (If I had a nickel for everytime I said that). But, the most time consuming part for me was the staining. It took me an hour and 45 minutes, because I had to get into every crevice. I bought a quart of Olympic wood stain, called "Canyon Brown," but used less than 1/8 of the can. I still have to add some hair, but he's pretty much done. The pictures follow:

looks great! i love the pantyhose effect. One thing i found was staining the skelly before the pantyhose worked better for me.

And thanks for the comments, everyone. It really is less intimidating than it looks.

Ok so you used make up latex, pantyhose and stain correct? I've been so afraid of messing up my bucky, but I just have to try this.
