Hallow and wow! Love it just as it is!! Nice work!
You might place a black crow perched on the top left corner - but otherwise - I would leave as is. Very festive, I might add!

I carved (with Dremel) a skeleton on a mirror frame similair to this one, then mounted a scythe blade that paralleled the curve at the top of the mirror frame. I used the entire scythe. The handle hangs down almost to the floor..so I guess the mirror became a hang-up hook for it?
the frame on my mirror is white, I pushed some light yellow into the carving so the carving might be the last part of this that gets noticed as someone sees this for the first time, which is fine with me, I like subtle/scary, it's sort of like sneeking up on someone. Right in plain site.

Wow! LadyAlthea that looks great!!! I like your idea to add rope at the top and HallowSusieBoo's idea to add a crow. But you really don't need to add anything- looks great as is!!

A thin point magic marker could put some cracks in the mirror= 7years bad luck!

How about some very melted LED candles on top, like about 3/4 thick candles of varying height at random intervals along the top. It could create a very gothic haunted house style like someone or something was there. Or even just go buy some cheap candles and let them melt themselves down on the top of it. Then you just have the old candles there, but cut the wick so somebody wouldn't be inclined to light them when mounted on a wall.
