A couple of weeks ago I asked everyone's opinion on making a 'fishing line' spider web. I finally made one. Please ignore the PVC frame. That will be removed when I attach the web to something. There are hot glue drips which look like dew. Unfortunately you can't see it in the pic.
What do ya'll think?
It's not considered anything 'major', just something to add to the atmosphere of my cemetery. And I'm tired of that darned yarn that I normally use to make webs. LOL
Thank you for looking!![]()

Wow! spider web looks really good. It looks like a real web. Did you glue, or tie all sections. I don't think I would have patience for doing all that. Or I could even see it to make it.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

After I made the frame (5' pvc), I hot glued those tie- thingys (that you have on a loaf of bread) on to the frame where I wanted to place my base lines. That way I can remove the web easily without having to take apart the frame. Once the base lines were in place, I took more fishing line and tied it from one base line to another, hot glueing after each was single- knotted. The fishing line has a tendency to curl so the entire web had to be hot- glued. Took about 6 hours to complete. And that one in the pic was my 3rd one; the first 2 were really bad and trashed.

Wow creeepycathy, that does look real! I applaud your patience in making that. If you used fluorescent monofilament, I bet it has a great eerie glow under blacklight. Well done!

That turned out great--so realistic. You must have the patience of a saint to tie all those knots. You've been really busy knocking out all these projects, which have turned out fantastic I must add!
