    Just an update on my tea staining attempts. After trying this twice, I'm still more of a dry brushing kinda guy. I seem to not be able to get the paint watering down...down. I get a gray wash over everything more than a distinct corroding from level surfaces type look.

    The other thing I noticed is the way subtlety does not generally translate once the lights go down and the spots come on. I was getting excited over too much white, too much gray, etc. It seemed to all fade away once the spot was on it. Might as well saved two hours and left it at Dry-Loc.

    They look great and very, very old.

    I understand what you are saying about the spotlight at night washing away any detail painting. It does do that. I personally like the extra detail painting because I have my graveyard out day and night from Oct. 1.
