Hi people. I just wanted to state that any Canuks who are interested in using pneumatics for their props can purchase cylinders, fittings and relays at Princess Auto now. I have been busting my hump for months now looking for a local over the counter distributor for pneumatics and accessories to no avail. One day recently i went into my local Princess Auto store and ventured over to the hydraulics section and VOILA, they finally had pneumatics and at reasonable prices too!! I purchased a double acting cylinder and a solenoid valve assembly for cheap! Now i can get to work on the prop i wanted to do for 2009, i hope it will be ready for 2010!!!

hey canucks princess auto has always had bimbas and that sort of thing for pnumatics , we in canada are way behind the times believe me I have been going to Fright fest in portland for three years now and they have taught me all about pnumatics making a the axis skull, doing vidio projection all that technical stuff that in canada just hasntbeen popular or no one knows how to do it I also go to one in BC every year and its like day and night between the two groups we are slowly making our way into this kind of technology

I know this only helps Scruffywolf but in Toronto there is a fantastic prop building workshop run by BoneyardBargins.com or ca I forget. Any way I went 3years ago and they went over Pnumatics and were to get them.
I didn't fail. I found 10,000 ways it doesn't work.... T.E

Osenator, i bought a double acting cylinder for around $25 and a 5-way solenoid for about $30 Plus a whole bunch of press-in fittings so, for about $70 i was good to go for my coffin prop. Of course i am gonna need a few more things plus another cylinder and a Pico-Boo but i am well on my way to being finished before next halloween.
Snap....i have been to the beaches here in Toronto and visited Boneyard when he was basically selling Buckies out of his garage (bought my first Bucky there) Since then he has gone off on so many tangents and developed so many things, great to see him taking off in Canada and, ihauntu, i totally agree that we are behind the times a little here in Canada but, from some of the innovative Canucks i have seen here, we are on our way to getting on par with our many American friends (Fright Ideas, Boneyard Bargains etc.) And Princess Auto has NOT always carried pneumatics, not in all stores anyway as i have been an in-depth Princess Auto shopper since they entered Ontario. If they had had it, i would have seen it. Anyway, fact is, Now they have pneumatics and i am off to the races......lol
