Just returned from driving from San Diego to Riverside to pick up some pink foam. Found a distributor that carried the pink Foamular 250. I got 1 sheet of 1",
3 sheets of 11/2" and 2 sheets of 2". Came to $200 but well worth it after working with the white stuff for my first 2 tombstones.
The company is IDI and the phone number is 951-682-0809.
Can't wait to work with it tonight!

I need to ask. What is the difference from pink and white foam? (feeling stupid asking, but I must know!) (L)

white is made of little beads that get EVERYWHERE, the pink and blue are more dence and not made of beads.
I'm glad I dont live in Cali, I can drive down the street a mile and buy blue foam for $12-$20 a sheet depending on thicknesshttp://theyard.netii.net/

Don't think it's a dumb question. The only dumb question is a question you don't ask. The white foam is coarse, when it is cut or broken there are many little beads of styrofoam that break apart and go everywhere.
The pink and blue are made differently. The foam is more solid. If you break it in half or cut it, the foams edge stays smooth. This makes it favored over the white.
I don't use the white foam sheets, but I'm sure there are situations where the white may work better
I hope this helps.

I live in Ca, and Home Depot here in Salinas now carries the pink foam. I was shocked to find it, so of course I bought a few sheets. I hope they keep stocking it. This is the first year I've seen it here.

I find that the white stuff works great for Christmas displays! (I know, bad me for saying that word...)
