Well, here is my daughter Social Studies Project. We did it on the Mayan Calendar/2012. It was my first time doing a foam stone wall and we also made the temple out of foam coated with non sanding tile grout. There is a great tutorial on youtube for this here - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx68drYztlk]YouTube - Fake rock lizard Temple, with cricket sacrifice[/ame] Anyway, I thought you guys could use this on some of your props.

Looks fantastic! The wall is really well done, and I like the stone look on the temple.
Did you use dry-brushing for the highlights?

    Hope she gets an "A"!

I did two coats of non-sanding tile grout mixed with a little bit of black acrylic paint to give it a gray look. After it was finished, I used a spray bottle with black acrylic paint with water and misted it. I did use the dry brush method to add a green mosey/fungus look. I mixed black and green acrylic paint to get the right dark green color. Thanks for the comments. Hope she wins!!!

Oh, the wall was carved with my Dremal, painted flat gray, I then kinda sponged some light black blotches and then I lightly misted it with a flat black spray paint. There is no grout on the wall.

Hallow and VERY nice texture idea! This might even help make headstones a bit heavier and less prone to flying off in a strong wind!! Thanks for sharing and....BOO!
