Say Ox....I too have been studying your tutorial, (a great job btw) one quick question please....I noticed you cast only the upper part of the skull, without the lower jawbone. Why?
Also, can you cast the whole skull as one piece? If you wanted to have a movable jaw/mouth on the finished skull, could you cast the lower jawbone by itself to "hinge" to the rest of the skull later?
Thanks again, your instruction has been a solid gold find for me !

My skulls are impaled on stakes. It doesn't make any sense that the lower jaw would remain intact in such a situation.
I did for my crystal skulls (linked to above by scourge as well)Also, can you cast the whole skull as one piece?
Yes...HOW would be the question. And that's going to depend on what you cast everything out of. You could TRY something akin to my joints on Bob.If you wanted to have a movable jaw/mouth on the finished skull, could you cast the lower jawbone by itself to "hinge" to the rest of the skull later?
Always glad to give something back. Thanks again, your instruction has been a solid gold find for me !
