First time to do a 'pretty' prop. I thought she turned out well. I named her Esmerelda and I have pictures of the process if anyone is interested. I will have to work out better hands next year, but I ran out of time.

She turned out real nice, and yes...It makes a refreshing change to see a "nice" prop.
Shame about the hands, but they are always the most time consuming and probably the most difficult part of the prop to construct.
Still...You have almost a whole year to re-model them and get them right!
Good job!

Honestly , I think the hands turned out good.
Once you use mood lighting , you won't be able to tell.
Great job !

She looks great, good job. I think her hands look fine. If you are concerned about their size, shape or look, thats all resolved with the right lighting.
Another option IF you decided to change them is to get a pair of female Ghost Hands which I think are about $19 + shipping online. I have a pair for my 'nice' FCG. They are lightweight and look real. Here is the link I have saved...The Original Female Ghost Hands
Good job.

Thanks for all the support! ajbanz - her head is a foam wig head from Sally's Beauty Supply. I just put about 4 coats of gesso (with acrylic paint in it) on it to smooth it out. It would probably look smoother if I had sanded between coats. I really liked how her 'crystal ball' turned out. It was just a ceiling fan light dome, on it's base, with a color-changing led pumpkin light in it. The pictures don't do justice to the changing light. I also put out black and purple candles on the table for some lighting.

I like her looks very much. For me, I think her hands are fine. I have also learned the hands are the biggest challenge. You were going for normal looking hands, and I think you did a fine job of it.
I'm done with my corpse hands, and I think you have more latitude with the"abnormal" hands of ghost, ghoul, the dead, zombie etc.
What you did to create normal human hands IS tough, and you pulled it off !
