do they need to hold a body? (or are we just talking pretend?)

I went to an antique store and bought an old hay hook. I use it as a prop because it looks old and it is sturdy. You can put it places and hang body props fron it.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

well, here is where i kinda lose the idea.... if a body is hanging on it, really how much of the hook is realling going to show? I was going to suggest thin wall pipe (ac and brake line) and bend it with a tube bender from Harbor Freight , but that wont hold the weight... or just bend steel rod around a half inch iron pipe. but then I thought that if you have a body on it, maybe the hook really dont show or be that good and it is just the ugly trucker chain is all you need? Or a combo of fake hooks made from something that aint strong enough but looks real (and nothing on them) and chains with stuff on them (no hooks) but people will assume they do have hooks and cant be seen. for example you can hang an empty noose in a tree on one limb and just hang a guy from a tree on the other... people will assume that both are being hung by the neck from 20 feet away.

for the hook with nothing on it... how about
HOOKS- BEEF-HEAVY GAME
although i keep thinking that a large vice and a half inch metal pipe and ya could bend a rod from Lowes or HD good enough for low light prop. my guess is your not worried about it being stainless... LOL

You can also try thin rebar and heat it enough to bend it into a hook.
