Been looking all over for realistic eyes and other things....then i thought of taxidermy. checked out web sites in my ontario area and coyote eyes are awesome and also you can buy animal manikkins and other stuff like clay or moldings for really cheap. I found that alginate molding stuff for half the price. Just thought i would pass this on to everyone....seems they have lots of stuff for us prop makers to use
Anyone else thought of this or know of other odd places to buy supplies.

Yeah, Van Dyke's even carries human eyes.
I'm not sure what you've been paying for alginate, but the taxidermy sites I've seen are a bit pricey. FX Warehouse sells Accu-Cast 880 for $9 a pound, Smooth-On sells 3 lbs of Alja-Safe for $29.55.
For very good looking and cheap eyes check out Terra's eye tut.
