Thread: What to do with 3 transformers?

I've recently been donated 3 Neon Sign Transformers. All are 12000V.

I have a jacob's ladder already, might make one or two more, but that still leaves me 1-2 to figure out what to do with.

I've looked into Tesla Coils, and between the parts and time required, I'm not entirely sure if I want to take that one on right now.

Any other great ideas for one?

You don't want to do that with a 12000v neon transformer, that would be like an ark welder. You do that with DC voltage..

The only thing I could think of was the Jacobs Ladder, I would try Google with High voltage projects? or ..........
