Thank ye one and all for the most kind words!!!!
My house is pretty old and has a very large attic where the "Crew" gets hung up from the rafters (Freaks the wife & kids out!). I also pack the smaller props and lights in RubberMaid tubs which get stored up there as well.
The larger props, such as the cannon, helm, bow beams, ropes, bender board ship slats, etc... get stored under the house on top of a floor made of the pallets that I use to raise the level of the deck for the props.
The largest props, the mast and both sections of the wrecked rowboat get stored along side of my house.
I actually did get mentioned in the local paper this year. No pics, but many folks told us that they had read about our haunt in the article.
Yeah, I think my set up really shows up better at night. It took a while to get the lighting just right. Lots of experimentation with different colored bulbs, lighting angles and proper distance. I actually ended up adding three more spot lights to the set this year and I think that really made a difference.Thank ye matey, from the bottom of me scurvy heart......"One Eye'd" Mick
