Working on setting up someone. For the past few years, my nephew has had friends over for Halloween, and his father wants to scare them next year. I have some ideas.
First thing I need to figure out is how to take a door that they normally leave open, and make it slam shut. The door can only open to 90 degrees because of a wall, and it just closes off the basement from the stairs at the bottom. So, from the main level, there is an open stairway and at the bottom is a door.
Whatever I build has to be contained behind the door, which the door open. I cannot run air hoses at all because he would see them as his bedroom is in the basement off of the basement living room. I was thinking of seeing if I could get enough power from BB gun CO2 canisters. The door is a normal inside door, hallow core. Not heavy at all.
Part of my plan is to rig up X10 stuff that I have to some lights. Random lights coming on, or off. Plus, I can get access to all of their computers, and I have a program that 'haunts' PC's. Just have to put exceptions into the AV software for it.
I love it when parents give me full authority to scare their kids.
