Default Time to start working on Next years Props

Well another Halloween has come and gone. I'm sure we all learned a few new tricks and techniques. But, enough about lasy years Halloween. Whats on your Agenda for 2010?

Here is my list that will more than likely get chopped down to only 2 or 3 items by the time Halloween rolls around

2010 to do list

- Graveyard Fence and Pillars
- 13ft tall Pumpki King Replica
- 8 new tombstones
- 1-2 Bleeding Tombstones
- Toe Pincher Coffin w/ wiper motor inside so it becomes a MIB i guess.
- Redoing 2 of my Buckies with my new corpsing method.
- Fog chiller (unless i can get enough money through side jobs to purchase a dry ice fogger)

I am right there with you:

10 new tomb/headstones

3 large style 6'tall tombstones like 6'tall by 3' square

2 8' tall x 4' wideeach side L walls to slip over my front property corner fences

design some type of low fencing to go across my front laswn to prevent kids from cutting threw the yard to get to the door.

redesign my lighting

rework my smoke machine set ups.

AND MUCH MUCH MORE.

Ohhhh...

- I would LOVE to build the Pumpkin Kreeps designed by SkullandBone, at the very least I'd like to make the grounbreaker kreep.

Apart from that...

- MORE Tombstones!
- New groundbreakers.
- A fog chiller.
- Finish a zombie prop from this year.
- Mache Jack O lanterns.
- Cemetery pillars/fence/sign.
- Attempt an animatronic.
...and only god knows what else.

Sounds like a plan Nick! Need to work on pillars and a gate myself. Want lots more animated props as that seems to be what people like. Give me a call if you need any help.

My to-do list for 2010 :

Rebuild Egypt inside my house.
That'll keep me busy all year long.
I better get started...

I just got serious about props in 2009, making 3 motorized props. For 2010 I plan to get serious about pneumatics, animatronics and mastering corpsing techniques. I have some ambitious project ideas that should be very cool if I can figure it all out. My next door neighbor and I, would also like to make a haunted house going up my driveway, through my garage, into his backyard and out through his garage. All I need now is the $$$ to fund it all!

I wasn't half way through this years build before I started a list for next year.

- Fence and pillars
- More headstones
- Fog pipe chiller
- Replacing yard lights with LEDs
- Figuring out a better way than mounting tape to hold the "boards" to the windows
- Corpsing and crucifying a few bucky's (damn good work man!)
