    A whole Block....Nice!

We borrowed a professional fog machine (a HighEnd F100) from my husbands work.

However we had to turn off it because the cops and fire department keep driving by our house to see if it was on fire. (the fog chiller we made wasn't enough to control the output from the machine)

6 400 watt foggers, 3 on normal put into bushes to seep out of them. Then three shooting into irrigation pipe with ice behind the graveyard. We had people getting lost on the sidewalk infront of the house.

I might have that disease.. but no more. I borrowed my friends after having to return my v960. He had a 1200watt one. I got froggy's freezin juice, put 20lbs of dry ice in about 10 feet of ABS and drain pipe, turned his volume output down to about 20% or so.. it worked really good. About 1/2 the night the fog rolled over my grass and graveyard and walk way. The other half a slight wind apparently kicked up and blew it the other way. A couple of times I had to turn my machine down to 0 for a bit.. there was so much fog it was blocking the walk way.

So couple things I learned.. first.. for a 1200watt 20lbs of dry ice in about 8 feet of pipe is no where near enough at 30% or so power. A lot of it stayed lowed for a bit..but not nearly long enough. By the time it reached my steps or the walk way it was lifting up. I actually was worried some kids might trip on our steps leading up to our door. Next year I will definitely build a chiller again.

Secondly, Froggy's Freezin juice.. it hangs for a loooong time! I don't know what they put it in it, but I actually fogged up at least 15 homes down the street. I got a lot of people that said they saw the fog all over our street far from my house, and thought it really added to the block. I was quite impressed with how long it lasted and how far it went down the street. I could not see the homes 3 houses down very clearly. Well worth $30 for a gallon, of which I used about 2/3 of it over 5 hours.

My name is Rodger, and I am a smokaholic.

Unfortunaly, I am not smoking with multiple machines. My first Antari Z-1200 zonked out on me in the off season. I am on my 2nd Antari Z-1200. I could stand to size down slightly, and have two machines. One on each side of the yard, so I can outsmart the prevailing wind/breeze.

Anyone having trouble keeping fog on the down low... pay close attention. There is also an inner workings video. This is an Antari Z-1200 rocking at almost full volume. 70-80%

This is my test last week. Calm wind, approx 50F ambient temp..

This is All Hallows Eve. Not so calm wind, approx 40'ish F ambient temp. For extra chilling I salted the ice, and wrapped a couple chunks of dry ice with aluminum foil, and set it on the shelf about 1ft from the fogger.

And yes the wind picked up on occasion, resulting in a block sized area of haze. No Fire Truck outside the house this year.... I put up a giant sign that said "The house is NOT on fire. Do not call 911".

The one time that it's nice to live at the bottom of a hill in a cul de sac is when I have the fogger going! LOL Our neighbor is a firefighter..he only came over twice last night to make sure things were ok.
