I'm hoping whatever the problem is its something stupid. I plugged it in 2 days ago for a test. It did great with three powerful shots of smoke. I turned it off and brought it out at halloween. It warmed up and I left it warmed up for about 20 minutes, went back outside and turned it on. It shot at one powerful smoke perhaps 2 then stopped. Absolutely stopped. The "continuous" button could never be turned off either so I yanked out that controller and tried a manual burst. Nothing. I tried turning it off and let it cool down. Turned it back on, again it lights up and looks fine but I did notice the outer case was not hot or even warm anywhere on the unit, even after waiting for 15 minutes for it to warm back up. Plugged the controller back in and the "continuous" button light was still on the on position despite not being engaged.

Can anyone tell me what I can look at? This was supremely disappointing as I had to go with only one fogger.

Sounds like either the "computer" crapped..if there is one, or the heater was bad. That really sux. You definitely need to return it and get it replaced.

I got mine as a replacement for the 1250 from Chauvet. Unfortunately some personal issues with a good friend took precidence over getting the ice for my cooler, so I canned the fogger use this year. Now you have me concerned cuz I have yet to try it. It does sound like the heater is not coming on. Only way to find out is to take the cover off. If you are not comfortable with that, then contact Chauvet for waqrranty service. They don't need any more bad publicity on their foggers. I can give you a good contact if you like. His name is Rasheen.
