I am sure many of you are busy doing last minute work on your own projects but I need some advice on completing one of my last props for this years decor.
I have a 1956 Packard Clipper hot rod that I always have a skeleton driver inside but this year I want to change it up.
I found a cool dvd of continually changing talking spooky heads that I want to project onto the inside of the windshield that will look like the head is driving the car.
To make it happen, I believe I need to opaque the windshield but I do not want to permanently damage my baby.
Current thoughts:
1) Spray the inside of the windshield with Hairspray and squirt babypowder.
2) affix cheesecloth to the inside.
Not sure either of these will work well. Has anyone tried anything similar or have a better suggestion?

I am hoping to still see the inside of the car as well but not sure if it can be pulled off.

I'd try the hairspray, but test it first to see if alcohol will remove it.

Try glass frosting spray at an orchard supply, hoe depot, etc. It is semi opaque. Did something like it a few years back with a " Hot rods from Hell " theme with a few of our hot rods.
Projected from rear seat to the front windshield. One had flames & another had ghost heads & skulls laughing. It also comes off easy when your done. When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

Would love to see pics of the Hot Rods from Hell theme!
What I ended up doing is pinning the cheese cloth in a semi circle to the headliner. It gives it a 3d living shape in the breeze and can be seen from all angles.
My wife made some bone hands out of baling wire and attached them to the steering wheel. The cheese cloth was brought up like two arms from the bottom.
Looks awesome if I do not say so myself. Will take some pics when it gets dark.
