For some reason this year, my regulators are really hissing. My setup works like this...
Air Compressor to storage tank.
Storage tank has 3-outlet manifold.
Each manifold has a regulator, for controlling 3 props at different PSIs.
However, I can't seem stop the hissing from air release. I'm using teflon tape and everything is snug. Any ideas?

A couple of questions,
Are the regulators self venting? Is it just 1 or 2 ? Are they leaking around the body of the regulator? Is the main pressure from the compressor set too high? What type/brand are they?__________________________________________________ __________

No clue about self-venting, they are harbor freight or northern tool special.
They seem to be leaking thru the body and not leaking thru connections.
The compressor I am hooked to now has no regulator, so it is 125psi to the tank.
The compressor I will use tomorrow does have a regulator and I can dial it down.
No clue about brand, see first line above.
Thanks, sorry I don't have more info.

Since I am an over-buyer and packrat like a lot of you on this forum, I went back and changed out the regulators with some new ones I had on hand (central pneumatic), and the hiss disappeared. It could have just been age.
For those interested... easy way to add capacity and run multiple props.
