This year we were contacted by local high school and asked if we could help the students with decorations for their fall Jazz, Wind ensemble, Wind symphony concert. We took 4 truckloads of stuff over and worked with the students to put together collections of props taking into account theme, lighting and balance. They set up in the entryway and along each wall of the concert hall.

What I thought you might be interested in is the use of our Halloween stuff and the work the students did to create atmosphere for the event.

300 - 400 people were in the audience and at the end of the event an announcement was made thanking us for the efforts we had done to support the event. What i found personally satisfying was working with the students and the interest they took in how the props were created, watching them put items together and asking for advice how to improve it, and the level of interest they took in the entire event.

Below is the director’s podium for the event and a few other student arranged setups.
