Thread: $12 monster in a box

I got one of those shrub shakers from big lots for $10 (+tax) and the wooden crate for 50 cents. I strung the shaker between the box and when activated in bangs against the crate which in turn makes it move and seem like its trying to get out. Since its sound or motion activated it never stops because when it goes into it rest mode its still moving and the motion sensor starts the shaking all over again. Here a video (sorry phone camera)

I picked up one of these shakers at Big Lot (need to get new batteries already). Where did you pick up a crate?

I got the shaker thing at Target for $10 also. Hmm, I need to find a box/crate to use!! LOL My poor tree thing outside is looking really charlie brown right now and probably wouldn't hold that shaker guy so well!

I got the crate from a food/fruit stand. I could have had it for free but my change was 50 cents so I just left it as a "thanks".
