I be loving this! All of my props I made this year have been done with the backyard in mind for the rest of the year. I love your wheel and the drunk pirate!

Great job posing your skellies! (What did you use to secure the joints of your posing skellies?)
A year-round display? That's a great idea. I'm just afraid if I tried that, my pirate vessel would warp and props would become damaged in all the inclement weather here in WA state. But you're in CT? Do you remove the lanterns and electronics before winter hits?
Oh, and welcome to the forum!
I've seen your videos from last year. Truly piratical!

All I can say is that is one amazing set-up. The lighting the poses and the placement of everything is fantastic. The treasure chest scene is one of my favorites. You have obviously spent alot of time and thought in the whole yard including the beautiful landscaping. GREAT JOB!!

Definitely one of my favorites so far.. but I might be slightly biased (see why in my gallery). I only wish I had thought of the drinking pirate for my pirate cave.. Would have gone perfect. Excellent Job!

Thanks for the compliments, yes I do leave them out all year long and the lanterns are the cheap $15. props you buy at the halloween stores. I lost the one on the boat scene (glass broke) but others are doing well. I will be purchasing the real burning lanterns and they should hold up for a few years. All lanterns and lights are connected to my low voltage landscaping lights. If only I had a great video camera to show off the light show at night. The drinking pirate is just for halloween display, I will find a future home for him somewhere in the yard. To secure the pose of the skeleton I used a heavy gauge wire with tie straps all connected to the spine for support. I will post video and show how it was done in the near future. Anyway, thanks again, Pirate

Bravo, that is a very well done theme. The musical score for the video is exceptional.
