Has anyone bought one of these from Spirit? Mine has a white wire in the back... Does this wire need to be removed for it to work? Please let me know if you have bought one and have it up and running. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

the one I saw had a plastic pull tab in the battery compartment area and you just pulled the tab out and flipped the switch and it worked

Yeah, I was playing with them in the store the other day. You just need to yank the tab and it should work. I was going to sever the head and put a small motor in it so that it would spin.

Hey thanks for the suggestions. The problem i have is there is a white cord hanging off the back of this prop... When you are saying "pull the tab" are you talking about the white cord? Any ideas would be great! Thanks again i don't want to ruin this prop...

sounds like you got a broken one that someone pulled the wire out of. the plastic tab is a little, clear, plastic tab that is about the size of a pencil eraser and it is located in the battery compartment.....sounds like someone pulled a wire out of yours. Take it back and exchange it if you can

Or, take it apart (if you can without ruining the feathers) and see if you can figure out where to re solder(sp?) the wire to the circuit board. Make sure the batteries are good , turn it on and touch the wire to where you think it came from on the board and the crow should turn on at that point, then reattach it. Sometimes wires are not even soldered, they are hot glued to certain points like the switch, maybe that's where your wire goes.

hey, I actually manage one of the stores I know what you're talking about. I'm pretty sure youg got one with the wire to the speaker is broken and hanging down. I have like 4 of these at my house and they're great. Bring it back to the store and tell them it doesn't work. They'll probably just trade it out if they have anymore. Good luck!
