    New guy question...

I just got a KY Special FX floating black light ghost prop but I do not see how or where the black light should be placed.

    Thanks to all!

It's really up to what you like best. For the ease of hiding them I mounted mine above so they are hiding when viewing her. The first year I built her I had them mounted on an angled pice of wood lighting upwards. It looked the same in both cases. Play with it. Here is how I did it.

My plan is to hang from the 2nd story of the house so I'd have to find a way to also suspend the light above or in front?

Well you could extend out with 2 2x4 or similar then attach a wire to each side of the blacklight then attach this to those 2 boards. Not only will you have a flying ghost but a blacklight as well. If it gets really windy you could attach another set of wires to the blacklight then extend them down and stake them into the ground or similar. Make them taunt and you should be set.

I use two 60 watt black light CFL]s in regular clamp lights. I paint the
clamp lights flat black on the back to make it disappear in the dark. They are located to the side of the FCG behind the front porch post.
