You will need to cut the strobe power cord in half. The strobe power cord will have a two individual wires. When you split the wires you will see that one wire is ribbed and the other has lettering stamped on it.

Do not apply power until all these steps are complete!

Cut the strobe power cord in half. (You will now have four wires)
Strip the wires on the cord. And the motion sensor.
Twist the two ribbed wires and the white motion sensor wire together. (Secure and insulate with a wire nut)

Now take the single wire with stamped writing that is coming from the plug and attach it to black wire on the motion sensor. (Secure and insulate with with a wire nut)

Take remaining wire with the stamped letters that is going into the strobe and attach it to the red wire on the motion sensor. (Secure and insulate with with a wire nut)

Plug in and test. Hope this helps. It is hard for me write whats in my mind.
If you don't want to cut the cord on your strobe, you can wire it with and outlet but you will need more supplies. As always, please be careful when working with electricity.

Remember, when you first plug in the motion detector it goes into "test mode" and stays on for a minute or so (I think mine said it would stay on 80 seconds). After that, it turns back off and is now in the mode you've set it for.
