My wife gripes that I dont throw things away, that I have too much 'junk'

But when assembled into something cool like this prop, she's like "wow, how did you do that..."

Moral of the story, treasure thy junk pile!

    $0 investment

reused parts from last year (air cylinder, skeleton dude, electronics), saved fence wood from fence repair. Bits and parts. Used the electronics out of a screeching rat gimmick prop for the eyes and the speakers are from a pair of computer speakers that almost got tossed out.

I say $0 investment because this year I didnt have to buy anything, but I am reusing things that I bought before, so it's not REALLY 0 dollars i guess.
    How it works:

Prop 'leans' back almost out of sight until triggered, then lunches forward, a little bit out the window as shown. Lights, fog and sound are all activated at the same time.

The doorbell is real, since where this wall unit goes (by my front door) it covers my real door bell, so I had to relocate it.

    Cheers,

    Mark
