Comments, suggestions welcome. All LEDS with the exception of that RED par38 under the tree. Maybe I should shine it straight up rather than at the house. Not sure about the red just yet... I tried to create a shadow on the house of the skulls on the bamboo polls. Wish I could hide the LEDS, but really can't... nothing to hide with.
lighting is sooooo hard!!

Great job. Yeah, I think the red should shine straight up. It will give the tree a real creepy glow. Keep up the good work.

It would look good shining straight up. Last year I lit a tree about 4 times your tree's size by putting a flood up in it and having the light pool around the base... Just an idea. If you have the time and money, maybe try an amber/orange LED flood under the tree?
Try a little bit of cardboard painted black and then just folded over the fixture. I've found it works just great in the dark.

No amber lights and no time unforuntely...
However good suggestion about the cardboard. Although how would I make it stay on the grass? I'd have to stick it in the lawn somehow and attach a stake or something to the cardboard. In the daytime it would look bad probably, but night it would look good.
Thanks to everyone else

Depending on the wind in your area, you might not even need to stake it down; however if you must just take a couple dowels or some shims and duct tape them to the cardboard and voilą! Depending on how neatly you cut up the cardboard and construct a little cover, it doesn't look too bad. Best of luck!
