I'm Curious as to how everyone makes tombstones, Ive seen a lot of really awesome and differnt kinds. My first year i just used styrophom and paint and it kinda melted, but i went with it. The next year i used styrophom and mixed grey paint in some mud ( plaster ) and it turned out nice with the texture. But some of the ones ive seen are so nice I'm boggled

Dani, just sent you a p.m. with some sites that may help. Also, you can visit Terra's albums- she is the tombstone Queen.

Plain old Styrofoam Blue from your building supply place (Home Depot etc.) Carve the detail by hand, Xacto and Dremel tool then paint with a water based paint (Latex etc.) that doesn't use thinners that can eat away the styro or blue/pink foam insulation. Layer your paints and if you like the stone effect, you can get the "speckle" or "Granite" look paints that come all ready to go in a can. Best of luck.....message me if you need any help/detail........
