    Hey All,

Well, I finally have a homemade prop. My hubby and I (along with a good friend) set out and made a lifesize toe pincher coffin this weekend. It is now sitting in my backyard and to be honest I'm not sure what to do with it in my haunt.

Seems kind of silly but does anyone have any clever ideas for using this as a prop. I don't have any lifesize skeletons/zombies or anything to put into it so I'm at a loss. I was thinking of putting the lid slightly ajar and putting a floodlight (unsure what colour would be best) into it so the light spills out...but that was the extent of my idea. I don't know what I can even use on it to decorate it/make it look creepy.

I've seen people excited here about rolls of jute...i saw a bunch at Walmart today and was wondering if using that may work.

    Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    An (obviously) beginner haunter
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

If not for my corpse in mine I would use both a mini fogger inside, and the lights for a beaming effect if slats. Are the walls slats or solid? If solid then yeah put the lid ajar.

Sounds like you are on the right track!
A light inside....with a mini fog machine if possible....some creepy sound wave playing.
A boney hand on the lid that pushed it slightly open.
The hands are easy to make with wire and clay. I used the clay that you can bake for 30 minutes in your own oven.
A corpsed hand would work too. Same idea....but with tissue, latex and wire. You can find tutorial for both here on the forum.
