Just finished and put up my scarecrow in his temporary spot. I will probably move him on Halloween but he is done!

Awesome job! I've always wanted to make a Pumpkin Rot, but I feel like I'm not artistic enough to use Paper Mache and make something that looks as good as that.

Thank you for all the positive comments. And you can do it, it wasn't that difficult, this was my first time using paper mache. I used the garbage bag full of stuffing to make the shape of the pumpkin and used kraft paper (brown garbage bag type) for the paper mache. Then used paper towels to give it the veins. First attempt for painting was too glossy and bright after some air brushing he got the right look.
As far as the body, just made a "T" out of some old 2 x 4's and cut some vines down. The vine construction took a little altering to get the right look.
