This is my first post... I'm sorry if this is documented in other threads... please point me to those threads if you know where they are. I can't find anything in my searches.
Like many others, I want to recreate the look of the skeleton pirate that is 'steering' at the helm of shipwreck in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I created the scene last year, but didn't have enough time to figure out how to make the wheel move, and it really bothered me. I have a reindeer motor, how can I attach it to the steering wheel to make it oscillate back and forth?
Thanks

take a look at the gravestone popper by dave in the grave at this link, you should be able to modify the linkage he uses to move the wheel just a litle to the left and right. it is also small enough so that you can hide it really well.
