Hi all i am new to the forums and i have read alot of peoples post about fog chillers. i kinda made one that no one has seemed to try just wondering what you guys n gals think ( i will post pics at a later date)

basicly i took a plastic storage tote put a 2 1/2 inch pvc 90 degree pipe in the lid of the tote and a 2" x 4" pvc pipe at the bottom for the exit fill with ice and go. the fog machine sits ontop about 1 or 2 inches away from the inlet to do its job

i do not use any kinda mesh upper section for the ice it just sits at the bottom and will hold about 60lb or more i have also used dry ice in it (worked great btw)

with out pics kinda hard to imagine but they will come soon

You describe it well and I'd love to see the pics!

How much total flow do you get around the ice before it exits?

from what i can tell quite a bit once it exits the fog usualy hangs low for about 3 or 4 min tops on a 75+ degree day also there is a tone of smoke in the tote its self just chillen (lol). the fog machine i use is 700 watts rated for about 3800 cubic feet per sec. with the chiller in place i probly get about 2200 to 2800 flow rate. so i was thinking about putting a small 80mm pc fan on the out bound pipe to see if it would help but i was wored about pulling it to fast and not giving the fog time to chill
If I could pillage in Hell I would be in Heaven
