My suggestion, buy some pounded metal, or metallic spray paint and spray the "blade".

Yeah. paint the blade and add a head holder (or whatever you call that) and it'll look great.

I think it looks great. Once the blade is silver that'll just be the finnishing touch. (I'd buy it!

yah I was gonna paint the blade I just was out of paint so it had to wait and yah the wood for the head holder was outback and didnt feel like geting it at 11.

wouldnt say that you even need wood, just get a brown wicker basket (Michael's, Joann's-the cheaper the better), put some hair (longhaired dog, pickings from a hair brush, trashed wig) and a bit of fake blood on it (food coloring, karo syrup and a bit of corn starch) and maybe a "blood" soaked towel or old sheet in the bottom and-viola, instantly frightened frenchmen!!!
