So I finally got the look I wanted for my graveyard lighting but I hate the way the flood lights are so obvious. I've seen those fake rocks used very nicely but I really don't have time to get them made this year. Any quick fixes to hide three blue flood lights? Thanks!

I need to come up with something too.
I had planned to make some of those loaf style tombstones and have the backside open to tuck the light into - so from the front and sides, you'd be unable to see the actual light... but never got around to it.
I could see using black plastic with some sort of framework rigged up and staked over the light and then camoflaged with some yard stuff - leaves, dirt, etc... they'd look sort of like piles of debris.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

I use bricks to form a cave over the flood lights. If you want you can sprinlkle leaves on them to hide the brick some.

If they are staked into the ground you could just get a small carboard box and spray paint it black. Just cut a small hole for the lens to shine out without touching it as it may get hot. I may try this with mine as I dont like how mine show either.

I usually just get a pumpkin and carve a hole that goes from the back to the bottom. Set it over the pumpkin and viola! It's covered. Around here we have a lot of farmland and there are a couple pumpkin patches you can go to and pumpkins are $1.25 each no matter the size so it's super cheap for me too. A pumpkin in a graveyard at halloween never looks out of place either!

I think we're going to make little wooden crate-like boxes, painted black/brown, to hide ours.

We used some potted mums (flowers) either dead or alive to block the lights. They worked out pretty good.

I've always used tombstones to hide them. But I like these ideas of actually hiding them from multiple sides - so you only see the light. I will have to do something like this!

I use a section of 12" sonotube cut at an angle and painted black. The sonotube is made from thick laminated cardbord used for concrete forms, it is available from HD and Lowes in 4' and 8' sections. Depending on the angle your lights are at you change the angle of your cut. You can cut it with a handsaw very easily. Hope this helps.

Yeah, couldn't you just put a few tombstones in front of them??
