I have been 100% occupied with a project and have had zero time to work on my Halloween props/ideas for this year. Main prop I wanted to build was a FCG. I've read a few tutorials, but I can't quite gauge how long it would take to make.
From start to flying-around finish how long did it take you to build/assemble your FCG?
Thanks!
Carl

Really depends on experience doing this kind of build. A full day (8+ hours) dedicated would probably do it, but Leaving 2-3 would be safest. Also depends on access to necessary parts (motors, cheese cloth, foam head, etc)

Just did my first one. probably could be done in the weekend by the expert prop makers here easily. if your building the basic alunimum frame and ghost maybe even a day. we had to build the home for her and some extras and I say working time it took me probably 12 to 16 hours. ( i am a rookie ) maybe more. kiddos and wife were good at sidetracking in my house. People were stopping for looks well before her finish and she was worth the time in my opinion.

You can do it in a day.If you have all materials on hand with some basic tools. The adjustment stage is the worst part,it could take 3 minutes or all day.
