The surrounding fence and gateway will be next year's projects. I'll be doing some AutoCAD designwork and 3D layouts, because we're arguing between two Mud Reaper's holding scythes to create an archway to walk through, and gargoyles/torches/pillars to build the archway. We're quite ambitious, mind you. HEH HEH!
So tonight's testing proves we need a much more powerful fogger. BUT..... it's doing alright in the calm dead air. If it's a breezy weekend, bah. We still might move the fog chiller over to the left summore, we'll see how things go tomorrow.
ALLRIGHT, NIGHT PHOTOS! I had to tweak settings on my camera, but I think these few were the keepers from about 40 pics I took.
Quick general shot as the fogger first started up. I got the fogger waterproofed with a clear plastic tub from a hardware store, cutting slots to breathe in and a vent hole to go into the chiller.
It lays on the ground. But this fogger is just too wimpy. It goes into warm-up mode before we get enough fog out to make us happy. 400 watts just doesn't do it, folks. If you're shopping around, look at Rojellio's reverse flow coffin chiller, and his included videos, for BEYOND PERFECT examples of how much fog you REALLY want on your front yard! A 1200-watt fogger is where ya wanna be!!!
The graveyard owner's attempt to wiggle the cargo netting around and see if that helps.
A good cloud building up. Hey... what's that lantern doing there?
Damn. The fishing line shows.
More fog examples. When it lays down, it really does the job! We just want MORE.
Different camera settings. Really makes the clouds look dark and sinister.
Okay, in daylight my bag o bones looks a bit weak. At night, it's freakin perfect! I still wanna pour a bag of dirt in there... heh heh...
Sorry I didn't take pics of the floating lantern mechanism. I kinda don't wanna show it off! But tomorrow afternoon in the daylight, I'll snap more pics. That lantern from the street looks freaking PERFECT. Up close, you can kindasorta see the fishing lines. But little kids, they won't know. Heh heh.
