Here are a few props I just finished, I think they came out well.
I used tissue paper and liquid latex for the corpsed skull, then used Halloween makeup to give it that burned flesh/flesh tore off look, then sprayed with glossy clear coat for the wet look...lol
The FCG came out decent, I am making a frame out of PVC and covering it with black plastic. I've had the motor mechanism since last year but never had the time to get it set up.
I also made a neat electric chair that I'll post pics of real soon.

You did a great job, love the skull! What did you as the head?
They live. They die. They return. Zombies.

Thanks! I used a 3 piece skull with the latches on the top of the skull and springs attaching the jaw bone to the skull, I removed the springs, screwed the jaw open and went to town on it...lol
This next pic is my first attempt at making the brain jello mold...lol...it cracks me up, I have to find watermelon jello, using the recipe which came with the mold (I got it from the skeleton store) it comes out flesh tone..lol...a few of these will be part of the Haunt.http://s381.photobucket.com/albums/oo251/bohica2008/

Great job!
I wasn't expecting the skull to be soo realistic so when I opened the link I actually got a little bit sickened and a lit bit scared.Darkness has a hunger that's insatiable

What did you use to turn the brain from flesh tone to dripping blood red?

I used cherry jello instead of Watermelon, there is a detailed recipe that comes with the mold that includes fat free evaporated milk (the normal kind will not work), the way it moves...jello has that unique wiggle, makes it very twisted.

this looks cool, I agree, eye lids would send it over the top but they would have to be done carefully and anatomically accurate to put it over the top. Nice job!

I may have to give that a try with the next one, I should have that finished by this weekend.
I will be picking up the correct jello for the brains to give it a try, see if the flesh tone is better.
I'll post pics as soon as I have an update.
Thanks again for all of the kind words.http://s381.photobucket.com/albums/oo251/bohica2008/
