Thread: Easy glowing specimen jars, what do you think?

We are doing a witches theme this year ( well its our first time at this ) and wanted some easy props to fill out the set

went to the dollar store and bought 4 glass canisters and a bunch of spiders/bats/rodents/fingers/skulls.

then put them in the glass jar and added some Rit detergent and water, and just placed them in front of a black light


make sure you set this up a few days before they are needed, the 2 on the left were done just before the pic was taken and are still cloudy, the 2 on the right have sat for 3 days and are pretty clear


now I will dump out all the liquid into a bucket then refill each container, just to get the same glow in each container
