I'm late to the party here, but I have to say Tumblindice is my new hero. Perhaps our views are simpatico because of our similar ages. I was pleasantly surprised this year when the hardcore Christians on our court took time to chat about the haunt and said nothing dispariging. And Halloween evening after a neighbor took her kids to the church's Trunk or Treat she then brought them by our house for candy. I think she felt bad seeing how hard I worked on it. I think treating your neighbors with respect and listening to their concerns will go a long way in keeping Halloween and Trick or Treating a popular tradition. I guess I'm saying, another one here who does this for the kids and parents who want to feel a little magic on Halloween.
