I know this is last minute, but I had to change up my intended prop for something else (it wasn't behaving!) and so I wanted to place a light inside my toe pincher that fades on and then fades back off.

    Any suggestions?

I'd use one of the lightningfx boxes and make an audio track that would cause the lights to fade in and out, but I cant seem to find one in the L.A. area right now.

Anything you can suggest is greatly appreciated!

I needed to do the same thing in a pinch one year. So I took a small, low rpm motor, attached a linkage from that to the dial on a dimmer switch that rocks the dimmer back and forth. I control the speed via another dimmer. That was 8 years ago. It still works.

I picked up a little gadget from walgreens last year that works great. It looks like a little black triangular box with 3 outlets. You plug your lights into this box and it can control them to fade, flash, chase and so on. It was about $20. It may be in the xmas dept?
