    Hey guys,

I noticed in the other thread some of you guys are looking for micro projectors for decoration. I have an AAXA P1 micro projector and I have another 2 coming by next week which my sister and I are going to use for animated flying ghosts (she's a graphics designer) which should be pretty cool. I'm not here to bash the Eyeclops or whatever projector (mentioned in other thread), but I really think this is a better projector in terms of size, brightness everything. I got mine for $189 on Amazon (refurbished). Nice thing about it is it's tiny:

Here's a video of some singing pumpkins:
YouTube - Pumpkins seeing on my AAXA P1 portable projector

For the flying ghosts we ran into a little bit of a problem as when we moved them too fast, the image started getting a little blurry, so we had to slow down the speed, so if you're thinking about doing something similar that is what you want to keep in mind. Otherwise the graphics, resolution, and brightness is very good. We bought them really to watch videos on, but what great timing for Halloween

I'm wondering is these might be useful for the projected face on the blank head effect.

    RE:
YouTube - Atmosfear - The Devil Inside her

This is interesting... no point in using a full size projector...

In the video it's projected on the inside of the head... which is even better really...

So you just save whatever you want to watch on a micro SD card?

Yup, as long as it's in a good video format (the video player is kind of finicky), but it accepts WMV, MP4, and AVI - unlike my Zune which doesn't accept AVI. I think the projected head idea will work, but it might be hard to reduce the light spill from the edges... I'm going to play around with it, that's a great idea!!

Do you guys have anywhere where there are videos of a moving / scary face? I am going to go buy a mannequin head if I can find one

Hey all, where do you get that head that you can project into like that? I saw this at a local store that sells home stuff, they have a video of the founder in a head.. it looks really cool! It's like a screen in the shape of a head. I'd love to be able to put a prop like that together.

I'm wondering the same thing - is there some type of software that would let me create a video of a head like that? I want to do something for both halloween and maybe Xmas!

Nice - did anyone ever find a video place to download these types of videos? I still haven't found out how.

Also if there's no site, how do I go about creating these types of videos? What software should I use?
