Wasn't entirely sure where to put this, but basically I was looking for others .02 on where to place one of my props. Below is a picture of my home normally...and the other is my haunt last year.

Yes it sucked, it was my 1st year decorating outside. This year should be great tho! I bought an FCG and built my own haunting rocking chair!
Not to mention I ordered tons of LEDS from minionsweb.com

With that said...you can see that I want to place my chair on the porch with a flashing flicking bulb that I've made.

The question I have is: I have one more of those hanging props that you see in the window. I have no idea if I should place it outside, or just inside for my party. I was going to put him in the rocking chair, but its difficult to do since I havnt built a body for him. I could put him in between the boarded up windows on the garage I guess.

Any other ideas? Thanks everyone.. I can't wait to show pictures of the house this year. Totally new lighting effects and props! Last year will fail in comparison. Oh and I'm ditching the rope lighting...as I'm thinking it's too corny

maybe the blue leds are too close..and need to be backed off? Experts? Please advise!

May I offer up a suggestion for your lighting. First off you are definitely on the right track going with LED's and your assessment of too much blue is correct. The first action I would take is add a highlight LED to each of your props. Personally I prefer to have at least two colors for each prop one highlight and one for backsplash but the key is determining which colors match best to each prop and trust me this will make a difference. Hopefully you have additional colors on hand and than it will be up to you to determine the best color scheme for your setup.

If you would like to get some options you can take a look at my haunt by clicking on my link.

Thanks Craig. I have a green and red LED left... I don't have many props to highlight tho. Just the skulls so far. Any other advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I just worked on this revamp this evening. Thoughts on this setup?
